It is really sad for me to have to say that Eddie passed away yesterday morning at the ripe ol' age of 38. The WWE still doesn't know the cause of death, but, I will update everyone as soon as I find out. Please keep his family in your prayers.

I have no doubt about that. He will always be watching the matches from where ever he is. He'll stop and be like "Hold up, homes, SmackDown is on. I have to watch Rey." But, that show kicked arse

Apparently, Eddie died of a heart attack after the thickening of the walls of his heart. In a way, this reason comes as something of a relief because there was some speculation that some of Eddie's old demons may have caught up with him. Thankfully, we now know differant. He continued to beat his demons right up to the end and remains an inspiration to us all.
